Lessons Learned

Coordinating the development of multiple SKUs of various sizes in the Injection Molding process.

From Sears to Lowe's, the process of assessing, defining and re-designing a new product line of hand tools ranging from pliers to snips... This project required "multiple trips" in order to optimize each handle for their intended use. 

In 2017, as a member of the Hand Tools, Automotive and Storage team within the Stanley Black & Decker design team, I was tasked with developing a line of pliers within the newly acquired Craftsman business unit. My core responsibilities being ergonomic shaping, prototyping and tooling strategy for multi-shot injection molding.
